GUI master processes administrative activities at Ceska Televize

Ceska televize, a public television broadcaster, uses GUI master to automate repetitive end user work that is algorithmizable. The tasks are primarily about data processing between different IS, which cannot technically be directly connected (they do not have the necessary API, the data cannot be read from the database, an expensive connector would have to be developed, etc.). The most common deployment is the automation of IT administrative processes. A secondary use is the simulation of the user's work within internal information systems, where GUI master can easily process various tasks even through a VPN connection.

With GUI master, Ceska televize knows how their information infrastructure as a whole behaves from the end user's point of view. Simulation of the end user behavior provides them with measurable data on how individual IS and applications behave (their speed, response, availability) and allows them to respond in a timely manner and ensure remediation. One of the processes implemented was the User Termination task. Based on a notification from Identity Management, GUI master ensures that even the most atypical access rights, which have been given to specific users, are promptly removed from all systems not connected to Identity Management.
